Who's Your Favorite Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity Finalist?

I really appreciate the work that PETA has done for the welfare of animals. I think it is an extremely worthy cause. However I am bothered by the exploitation of sex and fame in order to achieve their goals. I know a lot of people that agree with a lot of what PETA is doing (I know that my family has starting looking for alternatives to those horrid meat farms). however my deeply religious family is mortified by the amount of sex, nudity, and innuendos that seem to be the main tactic to getting people to be more animal friendly. It's kind of degrading if you think about it. If a cause is good, then half naked (or completely naked women) shouldn't have to parade around pretending to give oral sex to vegetables. I feel like PETA would get a lot more support and respect if they turned to legitimate ways of education about animal rights. The video of dogs in China was enough to keep me vehemently away from fur of any kind. However, seeing a bunch of naked girls selling their bodies in order to hoodwink horny guys to the cause is a definite determent to PETA's work. Coming from a religious background, I can guarantee that a lot more serious prospects will be converted to preventing animal cruelty through facts and those heart breaking videos. Turning into practical vegan porn turns away a lot of people that otherwise would get behind a cause as important as yours. I know that sex sells but is that really a lesson we want to teach future generations? That sex is the only way to get people to so the right thing? I just think that PETA could be much more effective if they didn't offend almost all religious people with their sex-oriented ads. I'm all for helping animals in need but it disgusts me that women need to get naked to do so. Just saying. That's my opinion about the matter.
