To be honest, I haven't paid much attention to the NFL since Barry Sanders stunned the football world and retired, but even I know about Chad Ochocinco. Now, the Cincinnati Bengals' mighty Number 85 has become the latest star to bare his impressive physique—and tats, of course—for PETA's "Ink, Not Mink" campaign.
How bare? Well, since this is a family-friendly blog, here's the PG version:

So why does The Ultimate Catch want you to reject fur? "To tell you the truth, when I was younger growing up, I thought it was all fake―they didn't really kill animals," Chad said. "So once I found out what really happens, I had the opportunity to do this, so I really wanted to become part of it. "But I wanted to get involved with the campaign basically because I'm an avid animal lover. You know, I have pets of my own―I've had them since I was a little kid. Animals always want to pick you up, no matter what."

TOUCHDOWN PETA!!!!!! Sure got my attention! And a GREAT MESSAGE, too!
re: Parkie. Chad Ochocinco has confirmed that he has not purchased a Bengal tiger: the tiger with whom he was recently photographed is not his, and any reports otherwise are false. Thank you for your concern.
What's more disturbing is that Ochocinco bought a pet tiger, gloated about it and posted a picture of his caged new prize online. Just search for it. Ocho is a media whore and nothing else. Shouldn't PETA pull this ad?
Come on people, do you honestly think Peta would have him hold a leather football. Its not leather!!!!! Please thoroughly investigate before you post comments. Wow if they had a brain they would be dangerous!!!!!
I'm so glad to know that there are some athletes out there who are noble, and of good character. Thank you so much for standing up for what's right. (and what can I say about that picture except....WOW!!!!!)
Synthetic materials are not without massive ethical and environmental problems. Any vinyl products e.g. PVC, and most petro-chemical products involve much pollution, which is bad for human and animals health by dirtying our environments. PVC and other products are therefore NOT cruelty free nor environmentally acceptable. I salute you for standing up against leather, but you need to acknowledge that the choices that remain are also hugely problematic.
Oh my! He could put his cleats under my bed any day! The fact that he loves animals and refuses to wear fur just makes him hotter, if that's even possible. It's nice to see some eye candy for us women for a change!
Very happy to know Chad is an animal advocate. He seems to have a basically good heart. After seeing the horrors perpetrated on dogs by Micheal Vick,it's good to know there are some athletes out there who respect animals.
i think i just fell in love...sexy AND compassionate
I had no idea the man was so gorgeous! I was blown away by the pants-less picture.
