Oh, PETA Germany and your seal-loving supporters, you had me at "Hallo."

It's not even Valentine's Day yet, but these dedicated demonstrators melted hearts (and snow) with their moving commitment to the tens of thousands of young Canadian harp seals who will soon be slaughtered for their skin. Show your love for the seals by wearing your heart on your sleeve this V-Day.

I am Canadian and I've been writing to whoever I can repeatedly to put an end to the massacre. I'm sickened by the slaughter. Canada is a great country and it makes me ill to think that it represents itself with the slaughter. I hope the hunt ends immediately. To the previous post Canadians such as myself do care immensely look forward to the day the hunt is forever gone and life on the ice will be a peaceful one for the seals.

I and many others are boycotting Canada and eliminating maple syrup from our lives !!!!! If this happened in my country New Zealand all us Kiwis would bind together to eliminate the torture...come canadians if you really cared this would not be happening in your country. Speak out NOW!!!

I am also Canadian and I DO NOT SUPPORT THE SEAL SLAUGHTER. I will not watch the olympics or support them in any way.

I fully support stoping Seal Slaughtering!! and I am Canadian but i'm a little offended at some of the pages written about Canada that PETA has posted about this. I hope you take it into consideration that alot of us are not for it I have not met one person for seal slaughter yet.

As a Canadian I thank anyone that is doing anything to stop the seal hunts in Canada. FYI Nova Scotia will start a slaughter of 2200 grey seal pups in the next couple of days...
