Ellie the Elephant 10th Anniversary
“Through Ellie’s heartfelt story, our children gained a deeper understanding of compassion, empathy, and the importance of speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. It opened up meaningful conversations about animal welfare, and many campers left inspired to make kinder choices in their everyday lives.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to host this educational experience. Ellie reminded us all that even the youngest voices have the power to make a difference.
Thank you, TeachKind, for bringing Ellie to life and into our hearts.“

“Empathy and compassion are both concepts that are emphasized and taught here at Tom Williams ES, but it can be difficult for students to really understand what those things mean. Ellie the Elephant was able to help with that understanding. It wasn’t just another lesson –it was an experience. Teach Kind’s impact has been immeasurable, and the presence of Ellie was a pivotal moment in the students’ emotional and social growth. We are incredibly grateful for the work they do, and for giving our students the tools to build a kind, more empathetic world.”

– St. Cletus School (LaGrange, IL)

“What stood out most was how naturally the program encouraged students to make connections between caring for animals and caring for one another. In the days following the assembly, we continued to hear students referencing the lessons they learned, which speaks volumes about the depth and effectiveness of your work.”
