It’s 2026, and the vegan cookbook publishing scene remains as vital as ever. Whatever your niche may be (high-protein, comfort food, whole foods …), there’s a cookbook—well, there are probably quite a few cookbooks—specializing in it. Being vegan is better for the planet and for your health, and every vegan meal you choose spares animals like cows, who form close friendships and mourn when workers in the dairy industry take away their calves; pigs, who solve puzzles, bond with their families, and greet their caretakers; and chickens, who cluck to their babies before the eggs have hatched and love to sunbathe.
Whether you’re an aspiring vegan cook, a seasoned veteran, or simply looking to add more vegan meals to your repertoire, you’re sure to find something to inspire you here.
