6.04.040 – Animal control center—Impounding procedures.

In addition to any impoundment or adoption fees, a sterilization agreement shall be signed and a sterilization fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be charged for any dog that has not been spayed or neutered and fifty dollars ($50.00) for any cat not spayed or neutered. The fee shall be reimbursed if the animal has been spayed or neutered within thirty (30) days, and upon presentation of a receipt from a veterinarian stating that the animal has been sterilized.
