5-2-3: – LICENSING OF DOGS:
A. License Required: It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, maintain or harbor in the city any dog over six (6) months of age unless such dog is duly registered and licensed as herein provided. Licenses shall be issued by the animal control officer at the city animal shelter or at designated locations in the city. The licensing period will run from July 1 of each year to June 30 of the following year.
