4-6: LICENSE FEES FOR DOGS; ISSUANCE OF DOG TAGS; RECORDS:

D.   Lower Fee For Sterilized Animals: The Eloy city council may set license fees that are lower for dogs permanently incapable of procreation. An applicant for a license of a dog claimed to be incapable of procreation shall furnish adequate proof, satisfactory to the animal control officer, that such dog has been surgically altered to be permanently incapable of procreation.

4-8: CITY SHELTER’ ANIMAL IMPOUNDMENT, RECLAMATION AND REMOVAL:

D.   Adoption; Sterilization: Adoption of dogs or cats from the City shelter shall be in compliance with the sterilization requirements of Arizona Revised Statutes section 11-1022. Adoption fees may consist of the payment of the impound fees, keeping fees and the cost of spaying and neutering. The Animal Control Department may waive fees associated with the adoption of animals.
