6.00.020 Permits And Fees

(a) Permit and license. No person shall, without first obtaining a permit thereof in writing from city hall, own, keep, harbor or have custody of dogs over six months of age, except that this section shall not apply to the keeping of small cage birds or aquatic and amphibian animals solely as pets.

(c) Fee and registration.

(1) The annual fee for each dog registered hereunder shall be the sum of $5.00 for spayed/neutered dogs and $7.00 for non-altered dogs. The registration shall be effective for one whole year from January 1.
