Sec. 14-7. – Adoption.
After an animal has been impounded for a full five days, the county will release such animal to the St. Joseph Bay Humane Society with the understanding that suitable homes will be sought. Any animal adopted out shall be vaccinated and neutered. It is the responsibility of the St. Joseph Bay Humane Society to set adoption fees.
