§ 90.14 ADOPTION OF ANIMALS FROM THE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER.

(A)   All animals over the age of six months of age which are obtained from the County Animal Shelter must, within two weeks of obtainment, be surgically altered to prevent reproduction. Animals under the age of six months when adopted, must be surgically altered within seven days of becoming six months old, or altered at an appropriate age as determined by a veterinarian. No animals shall be sold, donated, or traded for experimental use.
