§ 125-6 License and registration tag required.

No person shall own, keep or harbor any dog of licensing age within the Township without first applying for and procuring from the licensing official designated by the governing body a license and official registration tag and paying the prescribed fee therefor, and such person shall place upon each such dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened thereto.

§ 125-7 Fees.

A. The sum of $20 (with such fees as may be payable to the State of New Jersey being deducted) is hereby fixed as the fee to be paid annually for a dog license and each renewal thereof issued prior to April 30 of each year. In addition, a fee of $3 (which shall be remitted to the State of New Jersey) shall be paid for any dog which has not had its reproductive capacity permanently altered through sterilization upon proof signed by a licensed veterinarian. In addition to the aforementioned fees, a late fee of $10 will be charged for any license issued after April 30.
