§ 5-1.2 License and Registration Tag Required; Placement.
Any person who owns, keeps or harbors a dog of licensing age shall, annually in the month of January, apply for and procure from the Borough Clerk or other official designated by the Governing Body to license dogs in the Borough, a license and official metal registration tag for each such dog owned, kept or harbored, and shall place upon each dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened thereto.
§ 5-1.3 Fees, Renewals, Expiration; Seeing Eye Dogs.
a. Annual License Fee. The annual fee for each dog license is established at $12 for spayed and neutered dogs and $15 for unspayed and unneutered dogs.
§ 5-4 KENNELS PROHIBITED.
No person shall at any time maintain a kennel or similar structure for the purpose of boarding, raising, breeding, training or otherwise dealing in dogs.
§ 5-11.3 Licensing Requirements.
a. Display of License Number. Any person who owns, keeps or harbors a cat of licensing age shall annually apply for and procure, from the Borough Clerk or other official designated by the Governing Body to license cats in the Borough, a license and official registration sleeve for each cat owned, kept, or harbored; and shall place upon the cat a collar or other device with the license number securely fastened or displayed thereto. Acceptable methods of displaying license number shall include, but are not limited to, break-away or elastic collars. License tags or sleeves are not transferable.

g. A person applying for a cat license and registration tag shall pay a fee of $5 for each spayed or neutered cat and $8 for each nonspayed or non-neutered cat. Owners presenting a certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian certifying that their cat has been sterilized are exempt from the $3 surcharge; and said licenses, registration tags and renewals thereof shall expire on January 31st of each year. A late fee of $5 shall be assessed if a renewal fee is paid after March 31st.
