§ 73-3 Licensing requirements.
A. Any person who shall own, keep or harbor a cat which has attained the age of seven months or which possesses a set of permanent teeth within the Township of Rochelle Park shall annually apply for and procure from the Township Health Officer or his/her designee a license and official registration tag with license number or a registration sleeve for each cat so owned, kept or harbored and shall place on such cat a collar or other device with the license number securely fastened or displayed thereon. Acceptable methods of displaying license numbers include, but shall not be limited to, breakaway or elastic collars. License tags or sleeves are not transferable.

G. A license shall be issued after payment of an annual fee of $10 for each unneutered or unspayed cat and $7 for each neutered or spayed cat.
§ 88-1 Annual licensing and registration.
The following regulations are hereby established pursuant to Chapter 151 of the Laws of 1941 of the State of New Jersey:
A. Any person who shall own, keep or harbor a dog of licensing age shall, in the month of January 1942 and annually thereafter, apply for and procure from the Registrar to the Board of Health a license and official metal registration tag for each such dog so owned, kept or harbored and shall place upon such dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened thereto.
B. The persons applying for the license and registration tag shall pay the fee of $8.80 for each dog license and the sum of $1 for the registration of each dog and an additional sum of $0.20 to be used for the pilot clinic as required by law (P.L. 1983, c. 181[2]) and, for each annual renewal, shall pay the same fee for the license and registration tag as for the original license and tag. However, if the person applying for said dog license cannot furnish proof that the dog has had its reproductive capacity permanently altered through sterilization, then and in that event there shall be an additional surcharge licensing fee as mandated by the State of New Jersey (P.L. 1983, c.172[3]) in the amount of $3 per dog. Said license, registration tag and renewal shall expire on the last day of January of each year.
