§ 167-2 Licensing of dogs.

A. License required.

(1) License and registration tag. Any person who shall own, keep or harbor a dog of licensing age shall annually apply for and procure from the Municipal Clerk of the Borough a license and official metal registration tag for each dog so owned, kept or harbored and shall place upon each dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened there or displayed. Acceptable methods of displaying a license number shall include, but are not limited to, breakaway or elastic collars. License tags are not transferable.

§ 167-10 License required; display of license.

Any person who shall own, keep, or harbor a cat of licensing age within the Borough shall annually apply for and procure from the Municipal Dog Licensing Agent and/or his/her deputy for the Borough a license and official registration tag with license number, or a registration sleeve for each cat so owned, kept, or harbored, and shall place upon such cat a collar or other device with the license number securely fastened or displayed thereto. Acceptable methods of displaying license number shall include, but are not limited to, break-away or elastic collars. License tags or sleeves are not transferable.

§ 290-13 Animals.

A. Dog/cat license fee:

(1) Dogs. See § 167-2 for additional state dog license fees. (§ 167-2)

(a) Dogs neutered, one-year license: $10.

(b) Dogs not neutered, one-year license: $13.

(2) Cats. (§ 167-15)

(a) Cats neutered, one-year license: $8.

(b) Cats not neutered, one-year license: $11.
