§ 233-1 Annual license and tag required.

In accordance with N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.2, any person who shall own, keep or harbor a dog of licensing age shall, in the month of January and annually thereafter, apply for and procure from the Clerk of the municipality or other official designated by the governing body thereof to license dogs in the Township a license and official metal registration tag for each such dog so owned, kept or harbored and shall place upon each such dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened thereto.

§ 233-2 License fees.

In accordance with N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.12, as amended, there is hereby established an annual dog license fee of $15 for each dog licensed which is spayed and/or neutered and an annual fee of $18 for each dog that is not spayed and/or neutered, which said fee shall be in addition to the sum of $1 for the registration tag of each dog, as prescribed by statute. In addition thereto, there shall be collected all fees otherwise permitted or required to be collected, pursuant to Title 4 of the New Jersey Revised Statutes.
