§ 120-4 Licensing and vaccination requirements; exemptions.

A. License requirement. No person shall own, keep, harbor or maintain any dog or cat over six months of age within the Township unless such dog or cat is licensed. The provisions of this section do not apply to dogs or cats held by a state or federally licensed research facility, a veterinary establishment, shelter, pound, licensed commercial kennel, or pet shop. No dog or cat may be licensed without proof of vaccination as detailed below.

D. Licensing fees.

(1) All dogs and cats within the limits of the Township shall be licensed in accordance with New Jersey statutes, and the licensing fee therefor shall be as follows:

(a) For altered or sterilized dogs or cats: $10.

(b) For nonaltered or sterilized dogs or cats: $13.
