§ 156-4 Licensing and vaccination requirements; exemptions.

A. License requirement. No person shall own, keep, harbor, or maintain any dog or cat over seven months of age within the Borough of Glassboro unless such dog or cat is licensed. The provisions of this section do not apply to dogs or cats held by a state or federally licensed researched facility, a veterinary establishment, shelter, pound, licensed commercial kennel, or pet shop. No dog or cat may be licensed without proof of vaccination as detailed below.

D. Licensing fees.

(1) All dogs and cats within the limits of the Borough of Glassboro shall be licensed in accordance with New Jersey statutes, and the licensing fee therefor shall be as follows:

(a) For altered or sterilized dogs or cats: $12.

(b) For nonaltered or nonsterilized dogs or cats: $15.
