§ 153-1 Licensing; registration tag; fees; required information.

A. New Jersey Statutes Annotated (hereafter “N.J.S.A.”) 4:19-15.1 et seq. establishes comprehensive regulations for licensing of dogs, kennels, pet shops, shelters and pounds within municipalities of the State of New Jersey. Pursuant thereto, any persons who own, keep or harbor a dog of licensing age within the City of Brigantine shall annually apply for a dog license from the municipal official appointed hereunder and, in addition, obtain from said municipal official a metal registration tag for each such dog. At all times during the term of said license, said persons shall place upon such dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely attached thereto.
