Sec. 14-25. – License requirements; fees.

(a) Animals must have a license number displayed.

(1) Any person who shall own, keep or harbor an animal of licensing age within the limits of the borough shall annually apply for and procure from the licensing authority of the borough or other official designated by the governing body thereof to license animals in the borough in which he resides a license and official registration tag with license number or a registration sleeve for each animal so owned, kept or harbored, and shall place upon such animal a collar or other device with the license number securely fastened or displayed thereto. Acceptable methods of displaying license numbers shall include but are not limited to break-away or elastic collars. License tags or sleeves are not transferable.

(g) License fees.

(1) Twenty dollars ($20.00) for each unneutered/unspayed animal.

(2) Fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each neutered/spayed animal.
