Section 205.020 Required.

It shall be unlawful for any person in the City of New Haven, Missouri, to own, keep or harbor any dog or cat, whether male or female, on or about his/her premises unless said animal is registered as hereinafter provided.

Section 205.050 Issuance — Registration Fee — Tag — Registration Period.

A. Upon registration, filing of receipt for inoculation and payment of a registration fee of three dollars ($3.00) if the animal is spayed or neutered and five dollars ($5.00) if the animal is not spayed or neutered, the City Collector shall issue such owner a registration tag for each animal registered. It shall be the duty of said owner to cause such registration tag to be securely attached around the dog’s neck and kept there at all times during the registration period.
