56.01 ANNUAL LICENSE REQUIRED.

Every owner of a dog over the age of six months shall procure a dog license from the City Clerk on or before the first day of May of each year. Such license shall be due and payable between January 1 and May 1 of each year. Every new owner shall procure a license within 10 days after obtaining a dog over six months of age or at the time the dog becomes six months old. A late fee of $35.00 shall be charged to every owner found to be in violation of this section.

56.02 LICENSE FEES.

The annual license fee shall be $10.00 for altered dogs and $15.00 for unaltered dogs.
