56.01   LICENSE REQUIRED.

Residents of the City who own a dog or take ownership of a dog over 10 weeks old shall procure a City dog license from the City Clerk within 60 days of acquiring the dog.

56.02   LICENSE FEES.

The fee for a license is twenty dollars ($20.00) for each neutered dog, and fifty dollars ($50.00) for each unneutered dog. Upon payment of the license fee set forth above, the City Clerk shall issue to the owner a license, which shall contain the name of the owner, the owner’s place of residence, and a description of the dog. The City Clerk shall keep a duplicate of each license issued as a public record.
