Sec. 4-73. – Animal limitations.

It shall be unlawful for any person or other entity to keep on any one premise, more than three (3) dogs and three (3) cats, unless (a) licensed as a breeder, (b) a recognized animal rescue group or humane society. Unless excepted herein, owner and/or lessee and/or occupant of said premises must have breeders license if more than three (3) dogs and three (3) cats are kept on said premises.

All dogs and cats in excess of three dogs and three cats may be kept on one premise by a non-licensed breeder only if spayed and/or neutered.

The cost of a breeders license, if applicable, can be obtained from the City of Sulphur for the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
