Sec. 6-36. – Redemption of impounded animals.
(e) Animals adopted from the office of animal control must be sterilized under R.S. 3:2472. Failure to comply with this law may result in the office of animal control repossessing the adopted animal. Office of animal control may also take reasonable action to ensure animals adopted from the city office of animal control are sterilized.
