Sec. 6-1-01. – Definitions.

When used in this title, the following words and phrases have the meanings ascribed to them in this section.

Kennel means a kennel at, in, or adjoining a private residence where hunting dogs or other dogs or cats are bred, raised, and/or kept for the hobby of the householder in breeding, using them in shows or field or obedience trials or for the guarding or protecting of the householder’s property.

Sec. 6-2-03. – Kennels.

It shall be unlawful to run or maintain a kennel within the town limits. A person violating this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to the general penalty of this Code.
