§ 91.01 DEFINITIONS.

The following words and phrases when used in this ordinance shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them as listed unless the context otherwise indicates.

KENNEL. Any premises or portions thereof on which dogs, cats, or other household domestic animals are maintained, boarded, bred, or cared for, in return for remuneration, or are kept for the purpose of sale. The definition of KENNEL shall not apply to any premises being used by a doctor of veterinary medicine licensed by the State of Indiana to practice veterinary medicine, in conjunction with any business operation of said doctor of veterinary medicine conducted on the premises of said doctor of veterinary medicine practice.

§ 91.06 KENNELS PROHIBITED.

It shall be unlawful for any owner to keep, maintain or operate, a kennel as herein defined anywhere within the corporate limits of the City of Tell City.
