§ 94.02 LICENSING AND REGISTRATION OF ANIMALS AND KENNELS.

(A)   All animals kept, harbored or maintained by their owners in the county outside the corporate limits of any city or town shall be:

(1)   Licensed by their owners each year not later than May 1;

(B)   Animal licenses valid until, but not including, May 1 of the following year shall be issued by the County Auditor or person designated by him or her upon payment of a license fee of $2 for spayed or neutered animals and $3 for all unaltered animals and presentation of a rabies vaccination receipt certifying the animal to have been vaccinated for rabies not more than 12 months prior to the date of application for license. The owner shall state, at the time of making application for the license and upon the forms provided for that purpose, the owner’s name and address and the animal’s name, breed, color and sex.
