§ 90.05 CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.

(A)   No dog or cat shall be tethered with a lead of less than ten feet, to an object or structure, including, without limitation, house, post, tree, fence, garage, shed or clothes line at a person’s residence or place of business.

(B)   No dog or cat shall be allowed to remain outside and unprotected for any period of time during extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain and snow regardless of whether a doghouse or similar shelter is provided.

(C)   No dog or cat shall be left unattended without proper food and water.

(D)   No dog shall be tethered from the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. that unreasonably limits the dog’s movement.
