Sec. 8-150. – Redemption; disposal of unclaimed animals.

(c) Adoption of unclaimed animals; adoption fee. Adopters shall be at least 18 years of age, pay the adoption fee and execute an adoption form, pay an adoption fee of actual incurred cost, and have the animal inoculated for rabies and spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian within the time specified on the adoption form.

(d) Inoculation; spaying and neutering. The adopter must pay part for all of the cost of rabies inoculation and spaying or neutering for animals that are adopted from the city.
