Sec. 7-126. Increased fines for unaltered animals.

Upon conviction of any provision of this Article, the Municipal Court may double the fine to be imposed and suspend one-half (1/2) of such fine on the condition the owner or keeper establish that the animal has been spayed or neutered. In the event the animal was not spayed or neutered at the time of the offense, proof that the animal is spayed or neutered within thirty (30) days of sentencing will meet the condition of the suspended sentence.
