Section 210.020 License Required.

A. No dog or cat owner shall keep any dog or cat over the age of three (3) months within the corporate limits of the City of Eldon unless a license therefore has been secured from the City of Eldon.

2. Licenses shall be issued by the City Collector for a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for each neutered male or spayed female dog or cat and thirty dollars ($30.00) for each unneutered male or unspayed female dog or cat.

Section 210.355 Fees For Adoption; Dogs And Cats.

A. Any dog that has been proven to have already been altered may be adopted for a fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00).

B. Any unaltered dog may be adopted for a fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00), and the cost of the spay/neuter. The appointment for the alteration will be scheduled at the time of adoption.

C. Any cat under the age of three (3) months or that has already been proved to be spayed/neutered may be adopted for a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00).

D. Any cat over the age of three (3) months and has not been proven to have been altered may be adopted for forty dollars ($40.00), and the cost of the spay/neuter. The appointment for the alteration will be scheduled at the time of adoption.
