Sec. 6-27. – Number of dogs, limitation.

(c) A person shall be permitted to keep a female dog with a litter, except that no more than one litter may be kept at any time, and no more than one litter may be kept in any 12-month period. Litters may be kept a maximum of 120 days under this exception, after which the animals are considered as individual dogs and must comply with the licensing requirements and number limitations of this article.
