Pigeons Reportedly Languishing in Traps in Utah!
PETA has been alerted to a pigeon trapping initiative reportedly underway at Hunter Wood Apartments in Murray, UT, where, allegedly, pigeons are being trapped and left to languish without food or water for days. We understand this complex has possibly been trapping pigeons for some time, and they apparently claim that the birds are being relocated, but that trope is commonly spouted when the reality is often much darker.
As evidenced by their repeat initiative, lethal initiatives—or ANY removal measures—against wildlife backfire, because the resultant spike in the food supply accelerates breeding among survivors and inevitable newcomers, with populations then increasing!
Local authorities and state wildlife officials won’t act, so we need your voice! Please politely contact Hunter Woods Apartments urging them to immediately halt this futile trapping initiative in favor of humane measures which are tried and true:
