Victory! Major U.S. Airline Takes Off With Vegan Creamer

After hearing from PETA, JetBlue Airways added oat-based creamer to its in-flight menus. The company quickly confirmed the news to us after it received over 10,000 e-mails from our supporters. Vegan coffee creamer is also available on Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines flights. Southwest Airlines is (jet)lagging behind! Please urge the company to embrace animal- and planet-friendly vegan creamer for all passengers here.

Like human mothers, cows produce milk to feed their babies. But their milk is stolen from them so it can be sold to humans for profit. Cows are forcibly impregnated over and over during their short, miserable lives—then their babies are taken from them within hours of birth, leaving both mother and baby in distress. When their bodies have worn out from continuous pregnancy and lactation, they’re sent to slaughter. Countless travelers are forced to choose between putting cruelly obtained cow’s milk or no creamer at all in their coffee—when many would choose a dairy-free option if one were available.

Animal agriculture is a leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, species extinction, deforestation, and other environmental disasters worldwide. And numerous studies have shown that ditching meat and dairy is the best way to reduce our individual environmental impact. So buckle up and join us in urging Southwest Airlines to take flight toward compassion and sustainability. Thank you for being a “copilot” in our mission for positive change.
