Cruel Traps Reportedly Threaten Songbirds at Zephyrhills Farm Supply Store!

PETA has received an urgent report that Rural King has allegedly deployed glue traps throughout its store in Zephyrhills, Florida. We’ve been told that at least three songbirds, including a juvenile, have apparently been recently found mired in the glue and still alive.

Glue traps cause immense suffering, as panicked victims struggle mightily, tearing their flesh and even chewing off their own limbs in their frantic attempts to escape. These sadistic devices are also hideously indiscriminate, posing risks to many nontarget animals, including protected species. (Most birds are federally protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.)

PETA implored Rural King to remove these traps immediately in order to prevent more suffering—but to no avail. Now it’s your turn! Please politely urge the following decisionmakers to destroy and dispose of the traps—then forward this alert to everyone you know.
