Amazing Video Shows Animal Advocates Charging Into a Bullfight

Brave animal advocates in Spain have taken to jumping into bullrings and disrupting bullfights to protest the torture and killing of bulls for entertainment. This powerful video, taken by our friends at Vegan Strike Group, shows two of their members charging into a bullring in Teruel on Sunday night and circling the bullfighters while brandishing protest signs until they were finally arrested.

As one of the courageous animal advocates put it, “We represent the majority of people around the world who are calling for an end to this cruel event.” At least 100 towns in Spain have banned bullfighting. Let’s relegate this archaic spectacle to the history books just as people did the bloody battles of the Colosseum—which were ended nearly 1500 years ago.
