§ 76-1 License fee.

Persons applying for a dog license and registration tag shall pay a fee of $11, provided that any person who presents a certificate to the City Clerk signed by a licensed veterinarian stating that the dog has been spayed or neutered shall pay a license fee of $6. Any person who has paid during 1996 a fee in excess of the amount provided for in this article shall receive a credit towards their license fees in 1997 for the excess fee paid in 1996.

§ 76-6 License and registration tag required.

Any person who shall own, keep or harbor a dog in the City of Port Republic shall apply for and procure from the City Clerk a license and official metal registration tag for each such dog so owned, kept or harbored and shall place upon each such dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened thereto.
