§ 89-7 License required; fees.
A. Every dog shall be duly licensed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 4:19-15 et seq. and shall bear evidence of such license at all times. The annual fees for such licenses shall be found in Chapter 156, Fees, § 156-4A(1).
§ 89-27 Licensing requirements.
A. Cats must have license number displayed. Any person who owns, keeps, or harbors a cat of licensing age shall annually apply for and procure from the Township Clerk or other official designated by the governing body to license cats in the Township, a license and official registration tag with license number or a registration sleeve for each cat so owned, kept, or harbored, and shall place upon such cat a collar, or other device with the license number securely fastened or displayed thereto. Acceptable methods of displaying license number shall include, but are not limited to, break-away or elastic collars. License tags or sleeves are not transferable.
§ 156-4 Animals.
A. Dog license and registration fees. (Chapter 89, Article III, Licensing of Dogs)
(1) Dogs.
(a) Dogs, if neutered or spayed: $11.
(b) Dogs, if not neutered or spayed: $14.
(c) The fee for dogs not neutered or spayed shall be charged unless, concurrently with the license application, there is submitted for each such dog either (1) a certification of neutering or spaying for dogs of reproductive age by a licensed veterinarian, or (2) a sworn affidavit of such neutering or spaying executed by and notarized on behalf of the applicant.

B. Licensing requirements for cats. (Chapter 89, Article VII, Cats)
(1) License fee schedule. A license shall be issued after payment of a fee of $11 for each cat if spayed or neutered, $14 per cat if not spayed or neutered and of reproductive age. The fee of $10 shall be charged unless concurrently with the license application, there is submitted for each cat either (1) a certification of spaying or neutering for cats by a licensed veterinarian or (2) a sworn affidavit of such spaying or neutering executed and notarized on behalf of the applicant. Persons who fail to obtain a license as required within the time period specified in this section will be subject to a surcharge of $2 plus a delinquent fee of $1 per month in addition to the license fee for each cat.
