§ 5-1.2 License and Registration Tag Required.

a. Any person who shall own, keep or harbor a dog of licensing age shall annually in January apply for and procure from the Township Clerk a license and official metal registration tag for each dog owned, kept or harbored and shall place upon each dog a collar or harness with the registration tag securely fastened thereto.

§ 5-1.3 License and Registration Fees.

a. The annual fee for a dog license in the Township shall be $21 for each dog of licensing age (which includes $1 for the required registration tag and $0.20 to be designated for the Pilot Clinic Fund).

b. In addition to the fee imposed in the preceding paragraph, any person applying for a dog license shall pay a $3 annual fee for any dog of reproductive age which has not had its reproductive capacity permanently altered through sterilization. This fee is to be designated for the Animal Population Control Fund.
