Section 205.010 Definitions.

KENNEL

An establishment kept for the purpose of breeding, selling, or boarding dogs, cats or miniature pigs, or engaging in training dogs, cats or miniature pigs.

Section 205.110 Impounded Animals — Release — Killing — Sale — Adoption.

D. Dogs unclaimed after the seven (7) day period, that are in good health and are not aggressive and have been sterilized, may be available for adoption.

Section 205.120 Impounded Animals — Fees — Proof of Licensure Required for Release.

C. Adoption Fee. A seventy-five dollar ($75.00) adoption fee will be charged for the adoption of all dogs. This amount covers the sterilization and rabies vaccination.

Section 205.400 Commercial Establishments for Sale of Dogs.

Any person engaging, in whole or in part, in the sale of dogs shall keep and maintain such dogs, and all structures, pens or yards in which such dogs are kept, in such a manner to prevent a nuisance or health hazard and to promote the health of such dogs, as the Supervisor shall direct.
