Section 205.270 Required — Exception.
A. It shall be unlawful for a person to own, keep, harbor or maintain any dog or cat, or ferret or potbellied pig within the City limits unless such dog or cat is licensed as provided in this Division. Failure to license dog or cat will result in a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) payable to the Supervisor of Animal Control or a designated agent. Dogs and cats that are intended to be sold, given away or turned over to a humane agency before they reach the age of six (6) months are exempt from the provisions hereof.
Section 205.290 Fee for Dog, Cat, Ferret and Potbellied Pig.
A license shall be issued after payment of a license fee as set forth in the chart below:

Section 205.360 Fees for Impounding, Boarding and Adoption — Fines.
C. The following impound fees are hereby established for the impoundment of a dog or cat, ferret or potbellied pig or other animal impounded by the City:
1. First (1st) impoundment: $35.00/altered; $50.00/unaltered.
