Section 205.025 Adoption Policy.

A. Responsible persons may adopt a pet from the Marionville Municipal Animal Facility in accordance with the following regulations.

4. Animals must be spayed or neutered within thirty (30) days of adoption. Failure to provide proof of such procedure will result in a fifty dollar ($50.00) fine and surrender of the animal to the Animal Control Officer.

Section 205.180 Kennels.

No person shall maintain in this City a kennel where dogs or cats are kept for sale or training without first securing a license from the City Clerk. The license fee shall be the same as that prescribed for retail merchants occupation tax in this City.
