Section 205.200 Adoption Regulations.
It shall be the responsibility of the individual adopting the animal to have each animal spayed or neutered within thirty (30) days of adoption, if the animal is above six (6) months of age; or as soon as the animal is six (6) months old and show proof of such procedure to the Humane Officer. If such procedure is not completed, owner shall be subjected to animal prosecution as required by law.
