Sec. 10-35. – Maximum number of cats/dogs owned.

No person living in an area of the city zoned as residential shall own no more than three cats or three dogs. The total number of domestic pets are not to exceed the maximum allowed total of six combined. Raising litters of dogs or cats for the purpose of selling shall be prohibited in a residential zone. However, if a dog or cat has a litter, you may allow them to be weaned and then given away so as not to exceed the maximum allowed number of domestic pets.
