Sec. 6-35. – License.

(a) License required. It is unlawful for any owner to own, keep, harbor or maintain any dog or cat, over four months of age, within the city, without having obtained a license from the city.

(d) Spay/neuter credit. Additionally, the owner of a dog or cat, upon presentation of documentation issued by a veterinarian that the dog or cat has been spayed or neutered, may receive a discount off of the regular license fee as the same is determined by the council.
