Sec. 6-2. – Definitions.

Kennel shall mean any pen, coral, stable, cage or other place of confinement on any premises within the city where animals are kept for the propose of breeding, boarding, sale, training, trading or sporting purposes. Kennels shall not mean any establishment in properly zoned areas where animals are kept for the purpose of sale.

Sec. 6-3. – Keeping of animals.

(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to own, operate or maintain a kennel as described herein on any premise within the city limits except as a conditional use in an area designated as an industrial park in an I-2 industrial district.
