Sec. 5-37. – Kennel license.

Any person keeping dogs or cats for the purpose of sale and not allowing the same to be taken at large shall pay an annual fee in the amount established by the annual fee ordinance for a kennel license. Such license shall be applied for, and the fee paid, within twenty-one (21) days of the date of establishing such kennel. In case of delinquency, there shall be required the payment of a delinquency fee in the amount established by the annual fee ordinance, which fee is in addition to the license fee and the owner shall be subject to the penalty provisions hereof.
