4-2-1: LICENSE REQUIRED:

A.    License Procurement: The owner or harborer of any dog or dogs within the corporate limits of the city shall procure a license for such dog from the city treasurer.

B.    Tags And Certificates Required: The number of the license issued shall correspond with the tag to be issued to such owner with such receipt and such tag shall be attached to a collar, which collar shall at all times be worn by the dog.

1.    Spayed Or Neutered Certificate: The owner shall present to and file with the city at the time of securing a license required under this chapter, a certificate of a licensed veterinarian that the dog has been spayed or neutered.

C.    Fees:

1.    Annual Fees: The annual fee for such license shall be as follows, which fees may be amended in the future by resolution passed by the mayor and city council:

Male or spayed female dog   $ 5.00

Unspayed female dog   15.00
