4-1A-1: DEFINITIONS:

COMMERCIAL KENNEL: One wherein the owner or keeper of dogs shall derive monies from the boarding, breeding, training, treating, or handling of dogs.

4-1A-2: LICENSE REQUIRED:

No person shall own, keep, or harbor any dog over the age of four (4) months within the City without paying a license fee as provided in this article, and obtaining a license for said dog from the City.

C. Fee:

1.   A license shall be issued by the City after payment by the owner of a fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each neutered or spayed dog and twenty dollars ($20.00) for each unneutered or unspayed dog. Owners who fail to obtain a license by the time set forth herein shall be subject to an additional delinquent fee of ten dollars ($10.00).

4-1A-3: KENNEL LICENSES:

It shall be unlawful to keep, maintain, harbor or possess upon the premises of any one household more than two (2) dogs over the age of four (4) months unless the owner or person in charge thereof shall have obtained a kennel license.
